HOLLAND, MI – October 25, 2018 – In partnership with the Michigan Science Center (MiSci), a hands-on science museum in Detroit, Michigan, JR Automation is sponsoring a series of “Sciencepalooza” Festivals held at a variety of West Michigan elementary schools.
Sciencepalooza inspires children and adults to discover and appreciate the wonders of science. This interactive, hands-on program allows participants to explore fundamental concepts relevant to our societies growing needs. While rotating through a series of 10 activities, SCIENCEPALOOZA participants will prepare for a life full of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)!
“These festivals give us a great opportunity to empower and enrich Michigan families with STEM programming,” said John Anderson, interim CEO of the Michigan Science Center. “Engaging students around STEM-based activities is a major component to building Michigan into a top 10 education state. We are thankful to JR Automation and all our partners for helping in our mission to inspire curious minds of all ages in STEM.”
“We are proud of our partnership with the Michigan Science Center and are thrilled to be the first company to bring its traveling Science Festival program to West Michigan,” said Bryan Jones, CEO of JR Automation. “JR Automation is deeply committed to enriching the lives of those in the communities where we live and work and we believe these extracurricular STEM festivals will have a positive impact on the students who participate.”
The festival series will take place this fall at elementary schools in Ottawa County.
