Our customer needed a machine designed and built to meet international standards for assembly and testing of small parts. Working within a tight budget, and with a required 8 second cycle time, the JR team came up with a creative solution that exceeded all expectations.

A tight budget minimizes choices, but maximizes the creativity of the engineers at JR. Working with the customer, the JR process gets to the core of the challenge, and finds opportunities that others may overlook.

In this case, the result is a smaller, finely machined, lightweight assembly solution that produces to close tolerances. The machine uses automation to feed and press terminals into housings, and then to verify quality.

For our international customer, JR’s solution includes the ability for this machine to run in both Japan and the United States. Our machine meets electricity codes and specifications for both countries.
